Two looms warped and threaded and tensioned this week. That’s a record. Using up the horrid rayon chenille on Kitty (knitter’s loom) for a scarf, and a jersey rag rug cotton warp is on Wally, the new wide rigid heddle. Have to say, the chenille is horrid to weave, but feels gorgeous to wear. And Ashford certainly feels more robust and has nicer heddles than Kromski. That metal ratchet on the Kromski is lovely though, but it should have been on the outside to avoid the card. @frogglin’s fault. 😉 WIP Wednesdays make it feel much less daunting.
