@ambiguous_yelp@veganism.social @khaleer@mastodon.gamedev.place @lumi@snug.moe I wonder if it can all be traced back to the book Animal Farm by George Orwell.

@ambiguous_yelp@veganism.social @khaleer@mastodon.gamedev.place @lumi@snug.moe As a reminder for those who haven't read it, here's the Wikipedia summary: (Animal Farm) follows the mistreated anthropomorphic farm animals of Manor Farm as they rebel against their human master, and hope to create a utopian society. However, the rebellion is hijacked and betrayed, and under the dictatorship of the pigs, the farm ends up in a dystopian state nearly identical to what it had been before. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Animal_Farm 2/2
