@hollie@social.coop I've never tried working over fabric like that. It's a cool look! I'm assuming they're glued to the covers but otherwise loose in there?

@yirggzmb@lasersare.fun Yes! After I make the first stitch, I slide them all through, and then just work over them the rest of the way. The first book feels fiddly, but you get used to it real quick. Then I glue them down on the covers. At that point, you can just leave them, if you don't want to add the book board! They look neat like that, I've made a few, and then you can even paint the cover right on that first page! :) OR, slap some glue on a covered piece of book board and place that on there and voila, a more traditional book. The fun with this is kinda endless. :)
