Edit: apparently openBSD and FreeBSD are using different editions of ZFS. I'm a bit confused tbh, and could use some clarity. I'm new to the BSDs so not familiar with its development trees. .. ZFS is sloppified now. I'm thinking an airgapoed computer with a pre-2026 (maybe pre 2025 to be safe) is the go. Maybe we go back to printing and scanning? This is insane.
