Am I the first person ever to run a Bourne shell on a Commodore 64 I wonder. A 1MHz 6502 sucks at disk I/O, sucks at copying memory and sucks at running C code, especially when the C code has to be optimized for space not speed. But it works. I have plans for REU support which I think will make it much much faster assuming i can get away with a few tricks and the timing doesn't break anything. #fuzix #commodore #c64 #retrocomputing #8bit
