I just realized there's a video-producer gap in my friend group, and that bums me out. I have local friends I can talk to about photography, illustration, yo-yos, electronic music production, circuit soldering, graffiti, activism, and art pranks. But I don't have any homies I can talk to about pacing, storytelling, scripting, or editing. Video production plays as big a role in my life as any of those other things, maybe bigger. It's weird that it's so solitary for me.
