@BenAveling@infosec.exchange @08956495@infosec.exchange that is one of the problems with this particular type of attack - they are using old, seasoned accounts. most of them make 3 posts before being abandon. We have incredibly threadbare and basic moderation tools, so should we push for that? yes! Will it help? maybe. Will we get it? nah.

@jerry@infosec.exchange @BenAveling@infosec.exchange yeah it is impossible to moderate unless you do a full instance ban to all instances where accounts are compromised and even then they will find a way… from the intensity of the work to the relentless task that it is totally not worth the effort. It was my first time seeing something like this so I raised for awareness, reported and moved on. :aaaa: :aaaa:
