@ellesaurus@toot.lgbt amazing beautiful gonna make a handful to have when folks talk about HP in my presence, too would you mind adding info about her campaign about Amnesty International, too? https://www.thepinknews.com/2026/07/13/amnesty-international-uk-jk-rowling-beiras-place/ last I heard she may be going after them in a larger way, too, but I'm not finding any credible sources for that

@ellesaurus@toot.lgbt then the solution could be hacking HP books and publish them for free. To separate the author form the work. Just an idea

@ellesaurus@toot.lgbt @Gargron@mastodon.social Having just walked up the Grassmarket in Edinburgh, you might want to target that for a leaflet drop.

@ellesaurus@toot.lgbt Someone needs to mail hundreds of these to every Tim Hortons and millions to their headquarters. It's sickening to see them hyping HP.

@ellesaurus@toot.lgbt This is really good stuff, and the website is very well done in it’s clear simplicity! The only thing I’d love is to have a bit more sources. If a person comes there not knowing or doubting or thinking this is some kind of overly dramaticized read, I’d love for there to be more links to credible sources, especially on the ”on her own words” -list. On her own words where? When? And so on. But already it’s a lot of good info, thank you for it!

@ellesaurus@toot.lgbt Awesome you created this! If I may...the only thing I would change is the word 'wealth' and use a specific amount or at least ballpark instead. Using your wealth can mean a tenner donation every month or, in the case of JK, spending millions of £ on hate. Even if they recognise she's a vile bigot there are still a lot of people who think it isn't that bad. Someone with some rotten opinions, maybe supporting a hateful organisation. The reality is of course far far worse and people need to understand that in a way that's undeniable. Perhaps also add a few more sources and if you don't have them ready I'm sure the community here can help out.

@ellesaurus@toot.lgbt hmm... The desire to stick these on the drive through window of every Tim Hortons I can get to is growing
