Discord messages are now going to be discoverable over the search engines - and worse, while there is an opt-out, it is two-layered: per server and per user. for now it's onyl for Discoverable Servers (i.e 1,000+ members) but they're definitely preparing the ground for expanding this feature - and to do that, they're going to test on this. so the fact communities still use it, in the year of 2026, is genuinely sad. #Privacy #Discord #Security #Surveillance #Messaging
