@domenick Been meaning to ask... What do you think of Threads? Is it catching on as a viable alternative to the vile TwitterX?

@flivverchannel@mstdn.ca I like 8t. Not as much traffic as Twitter, but the quality of the interactions is better. Also has a wide variety of accounts...celebs, politics, news, climate people, some EV people. Not so many trolls too, which is great. I've been muting all kinds of accounts in an effort to keep my feed EV, climate and news related.

@flivverchannel@mstdn.ca Yeah, me too! It's amazing how effective disinformation has been with people arguing a bus billowing diesel exhaust is somehow cleaner and better than a battery-powered.

@flivverchannel@mstdn.ca We use Streamyard. I like it a lot, but it's the only platform I've used, so I can't say whether it's the best.
