@BigHeadMode@social.linux.pizza there have been several articles from various mainstream news sources recently talking about the rising cases, here is one: https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/health/2026/09/19/the-latest-on-covid-19-cases-strains-symptoms/91827997007/ But, just yesterday I saw that from waste water tracking about 1 in 25 people in California has covid right now, sadly. And, anecdotally, Ive known several people who've recently been very sick as the news of the cases rising came out.
