For the longest time I had my kids convinced that a pamplemouse was a small furry creature that lives on a diet of grapefruit. Not sure they've forgiven me yet.

@happilyretired23@c.im @david_chisnall@infosec.exchange I convinced a friend's son that Gandhi was a world-famous wrestler. When he saw a photo of Gandhi with women in saris on the Salt March, he said, "Lady wrestlers?" Naturally, I said, "Yes."
