Holy shit! I thought this just applied to Whatsapp, but, no, it’s is literally all your stuff anywhere on the web: The terms, which apply to business users on Facebook, Instagram, and other Meta properties, include a new paragraph that authorizes Meta to scrape any web pages associated with the user’s products or services, as well as content available through those pages. Meta says it can then use that data for product development or training of AI models. The only question isn’t how broadly or specifically the provisions in the new agreement will be interpreted but where are businesses going to move to? because this is absolutely a red line for any creative business.
