@Texan_Reverend@kind.social @mavori@swiss.social Your post prompted me to check the IKEA website and it appears they now have 4 different filtering devices based on this principle, 3 portable ones and 1 coffee table. All their designs use a single filter which may make them less efficient but at €30 for the simplest model it's a good way to popularise such devices.

@brunogirin@mastodon.me.uk @Texan_Reverend@kind.social Yep. The single filter design results in a higher resistance and lesser efficiency. Due to the higher resistance, all IKEA devices are (too) loud.
