@nixCraft@mastodon.social I feel like if AI does kill us all, it will be such a massive failure of process, of risk management, and of general human sensibility that we honestly deserve it. We tamed the atom without destroying ourselves. If we're unable to stop the paperclip maximiser before it starts turning people into paperclips it's entirely on us
