My monitor fucking died and my whole life basically requires it. It's dead. Like, hella dead. I can't do much on my main machine right now. I haven't been this sad since someone clipped the mirror off my car. Everything keeps breaking. I took it apart, checked everything over, grabbed some board numbers, and then looked online. Power board is probably $50, but discussions say it could be the main board which is $80. Meanwhile a direct replacement is only $160, half of what I paid for this older model. I like the space it provides and color accuracy is fantastic on these, all about the specific Innolux panel and not the make or model. Maybe folks can help me swing that. I'm mostly just freaking out today. I don't even really have somewhere to safely store it for now while I try to find a salvaged board, even if I can figure out the pins and test output voltages. (Went way past goal, thank you :neocat_blush:)

A huge thank you to everyone who contributed. I hope I can dig into what happened and maybe get it working again, even if that means salvaged boards. I really worry that it's the main board and might even need to be re-flashed after replacement. Worst case I roll the dice on what panel comes in the new version.

@raeve@transfem.social Can't you just take a crappy placeholder monitor from your family or friends?

@raeve@transfem.social Any capacitor looking blown up? Especially on the power board. I revived a monitor changing those once. Was cheap
