@CoMaps@floss.social How useful is it to record a track? I found a missing trail link here and there but editing it would be a lot of work. Wondering if just recording a track would be useful for some system to detect the missing link.
Also, is there value at all for recording tracks of well known and well mapped trails?

@villasbc@mastodon.social @CoMaps@floss.social In this case @streetcomplete@mastodon.social may be more suitable, you can record a track that will drop an accompanying note for other mappers to pick up and see your GPS trace. But also, you'll probably find adding the track yourself is easier than you think.
