@kcarruthers@infosec.exchange imnsho the only answer to this is to immediately and permanently cancel any permitted facility development, a fine representing the cultural and ecological value of the damage done, require immediate remediation by Google and 30 years of stewardship imposed on them to repair the damage, and resets in all other development they have in planning or permission stages with reviews taking into context the clear likelihood they will do wrong. It’s only when we start doing this kind of punishment that techbro vandals will start behaving.
