@laurencelawlor Agreed. I love that there's a slight learning curve that serves to keep toxic people from staying. I love the human moderation. I love that 99.9% of the people here engage with each other in good faith. Mastodon isn't flashy, but it's authentic, organic, and if I ever want slop I know where to go to find it outside of this little oasis on the web.
