Hiberno-English word/phrase of the day:
Brothallach
(also "brothall")
Considering the current heatwave I thought this word appropriate! "Brothallach" means "hot (clammy) weather"; "very warm"; "sultry". As in, "it's fierce brothallach today - I think I'll go down to the Strand for a swim."
