@pojntfx@mastodon.social The major step would be 'how to facilitate key long-press in GNOME'. Would love that for transcription app, I'm jealous of how devs implement it on macOS Otherwise the trigger would either be (1) using multiple key shortcut combination or (2) using Input Remapper with custom macros. Both aren't convenient enough and (2) is hacky af
