@Paws2Trail@mountains.social Our city, Brescia, is terribly hot but within reach of mountains and several lakes, so escaping in about 1-1.5 hours of drive time is possible.
This morning we were at 1.000 m in a place that Milla loves especially in the winter, but the main road was closed and the itinerary was a bit taxing on her, narrow roads with lots of climbing and descending and turns.
Still nice at 16 C, but the road took a toll and she mostly rested instead of walking.

@cdf1982@iosdev.space Poor girl! But just chilling out at 16C sounds absolutely lovely. Our forecast for next week has us maybe hitting 16C Wednesday morning, and a max of 27C in the afternoon, with relatively dry air (for here). I'm very tempted to take the day off from work! We've been hitting 35C each day the last week, with dew points making it feel 40+. We're looking forward to cooler, drier air from the north this week, as long as it doesn't come with the wildfire smoke.
