@hacks4pancakes@infosec.exchange I've read your other posts about this topic some time ago and it's still bizarre to me.

@hacks4pancakes@infosec.exchange I must have missed something. Did you previously hold the fork in your right and the knife in your left?

@hacks4pancakes@infosec.exchange wait I don’t understate this reference? Why wouldn’t your fork be in your left hand

@hacks4pancakes@infosec.exchange I’m always amused at U.S. dinner scenes on film where every member of a family is using some different approach to managing cutlery there should be a course for international actors: Eating American Style 101 and I’m always, *ALWAYS* horrified by scenes where people put used spoons into tubs of ice-cream other people will be using later

@hacks4pancakes@infosec.exchange Chicago poorer by your absence, but totally get it. fwiw the city is still trying to fight the good fight. Also, skeptical that Melbourne has deep dish game.

@hacks4pancakes@infosec.exchange I didn’t even know this was a cultural difference thing til your previous posts on the topic. I just had occasional self-consciousness at my uncouthness for swapping what hand I use the fork with regularly during dinner, depending on whether I woke up left or right handed that day.

@hacks4pancakes@infosec.exchange not a problem if you grew up with that. But to this day, after 30 years, I did not learn to eat with a fork in the right hand.... So I dunno who got it harder ...
