So, just give up? I am old enough to have lived in a pre-Internet world, and I would never want to go back. AI is not perfect at all and needs constant supervision to avoid its mistakes, but the productivity gains are unmistakable. Same magnitude as the Internet. Progress, whether you like it or not, will not stop. Bend the technology to your will, do not let it bend you. Giving up is the end.

@AinsleyLowbeer@mastodon.social Giving up is not an option. But I will have a much deeper look into trade-offs of solutions and their AI policy. Nevertheless the usage of AI comes with several disadvantages for the environment & I'm not willing to push this when I have options to opt for other software which have a strict policy. I always embrace change & progress, but not for the cost of fucking up our world mid- to long-term.
