@tend2wobble@toad.social I went to the Multnomah County Elections office at SE 11th & SE Morrison streets yesterday, October 8th 2026, made a slight change to my voter registration, requested a new voter registration card, was printed and given a new ballot I took with me, despite being offered the ability to mark and cast it onsite if I liked. I took it with me instead because I needed to head to work. (1/3)

Once I complete my ballot I will take it either to a nearby dropbox or directly to the election office myself, instead of mailing it. These are options available to every Oregonian despite Oregon being a 100% Vote by mail state (the very first to go exclusively vote by mail, decades ago). I don’t think that Thom includes these details in his for-profit (paywalled for commenting for “subscribers only”) post to commercial Substack. (2/3) @tend2wobble@toad.social
