#Seattle commercial leases seem to have gotten completely disconnected from reality. So many good places can't afford to renew, close, and then the space just sits vacant.

@cibyr@omg.wtf.sh Yep, just strangling the city. "Six months vacant -> city property" wouldn't solve the issue (they'd find a million loopholes I'm sure), but it'd be a reasonable start and a declaration of war upon absentee landowner parasites.
