We've just noticed that quite a few of #RStats packages got removed from CRAN the past days, including some packages we use regularly for research (eg spatialExtremes). The reason seems... odd. R CMD check only gives a note about a reference that can't be found in the database. But the package hasn't changed since 2022. Anybody who knows what happened?
