Despite the fact I didn't get to playtest that exploration procedure on game night, the weekend was fruitful for MM2. I may have cracked that nuanced d20 resolution mechanic I've been chasing for a while. From 'infinite advantage' to 'boons, banes, and bangs', it is now called 'extra stakes'. I'll have to do some solo testing before I commit it to paper and blog about it (possibly, if I have time when I'm on holidays). #macchiatomonsters #ttrpg #osr
