Sit downstairs watching YouTube with a snuggly cat next to me: so tired I’m dozing off. Go to bed, lying in bed freezing cold and wide awake. Visited by same cat three times, who clearly also thought I was better off downstairs. Corporeal forms, what’s even with these fucking things?!

Nearly two hours later and I'm giving up on sleep for now. I'm giving myself a little bit to decide if I should beg a holiday tomorrow or just have a really shitty day. The need to sleep is fucking obnoxious. I wouldn't like some aspects of the 'Beggars in Spain' trilogy, but that bit with the first generation 'sleepless' sounds appealing right now.
