The sleep app I've been using for years has enshittified, AI and subscription. I've also been using the Fitbit watch and app, which I was already planning to cancel, and which has now fully merged with a new, more obnoxious AI gibberish thing. So I canceled all and bought a Tribe watch, which does sleep and heart rate, claims encryption and no subscription ever. We'll see. #privacy #enshittification #fedup #apps #alternative
