I watched season 2 of #avatarthelastairbender (live action adaptation). It felt better than S1 but I wasn't paying much attention and didn't expect anything from it, so maybe that's why. Depressing to know that almost none of these actors will ever be seen again because they're Asian. Even now, the only Asian actors I see on TV are on star trek. And even THEN, they barely get to speak and most are gone after one scene. Anyway, most of the kids have improved but the script is still ham fisted and just... Bad. I'm going to refrain from criticising the plot/perceived plot holes since I wasn't paying full attention. The CGI is pretty fucking awful in places though. Well, I am restarting S1 to see if I like it better, trying to ignore the animated series and follow what they've done here. Already annoyed: the messenger could easily have gotten away, but in order to fulfil some hammy plot device, they got him captured 🙄 and this Aang kid is...real bad
