@jeffowski@mastodon.world Gen-X. Absolutely this. My mum still has my school reports. “He’s clever when he can focus”, “he spends most of the class in another world”, “if only he could learn to concentrate he’d do so much better” etc. etc.

@jeffowski@mastodon.world There was no mercy for ND boomer kids. One time in 5th grade a substitute teacher was offended by my squirming and moving legs constantly they tied my foot to the desk. Same teacher that made a dyslexic kid write out a long word on the blackboard. It was written backwards, of course, and everyone laughed at them. That was so cruel.
