@NMBA@mstdn.ca imo the smart play is selling production slots 33-88 and finding a fighter that works and doesn't cost ~$60k CAD an hour to fly that can be bricked by a demented man-baby.

@canadianglen@thecanadian.social You also don’t hear much about these things in actual combat. They’re still using F18s and F15s, almost like they don’t want to risk their prized babies in any mission where there’s real risk either due to the unit cost (understandable), the risk of valuable technology falling into enemy hands (real) or the loss of face. If Ukraine can defend itself without F35s, we can too. Maybe the Saudis will buy out our contract? @NMBA@mstdn.ca
