@TechConnectify Just saw your video today about video re-encodes (youtube wouldn't let me comment on the video oddly). I have some experience with this and your comments mention it to, but about 99% certainty you got counterfeit/bootleg discs.
I recently got (from walmart) re-release of B5 since my original discs had a lot of bitrot, and I ripped them for backup, the ones from the first set that didn't have bitrot were (1/?)

@TechConnectify@mas.to bit *IDENTICAL* and dual layer. A studio that has the masters is NOT going to re-encode. Additionally I bought the box set of gravity falls, single layer discs, playback issues (but no bad blocks). Counterfeit. No studio (especially disney) is going to release products with encoding or playback errors like that. These were FANTASTIC counterfeits. I eventually got originals and even knowing one was a counterfeit and having the originals (2/?)
