what's the point of math then lol like if it gets to that extreme point where ai can just do it all and solve all the problems. what's the point of math anymore? what would a mathemetician be needed? and not only that but how and when we get to that point, who will be around to understand it and verify it? who will even use it? lol i guess we can just ask the ai what it spits out is good for and how to use the results and stuff lol
yeah it'll be good for engineers. save a lot of number crunching and focus more on applications to build things. so maybe the physicsts and engineers are happy. but like the human computers of old, would be sad when the ENIAC replaced them. and there will be those like me with an abacus and slide rule, collecting napiers bones and still crunching numbers by "hand" for fun hahaha
i understand the soul of the numbers, i guess. i speak to the ghosts of departed quantities. those that use the ai are the new infidel mathematicians that Berkley spoke about!
