@ReggieHere@mastodon.social I ran into my lookalike a few years ago. I keep flipping back and forth between that making me more or less concerned. Far greater chance of a face like mine showing up, but also plausible deniability maybe (but maybe not in my favour).

@ReggieHere@mastodon.social They're not building a universal face database. And the big data centres they're burning billions to build are for chatbots only. And all the data they're selling to hundreds of brokers is purely to improve your experience by showing relevant ads and content... So even if they have the tech to know where every single person is at any given time even if they're not on their platform, they won't use it this way. And they've got a monorail to sell you.
