For another, I’ve been personal friends with both Haley (and to a lesser extent with Mallory) for 8 years. For that matter I had a good relationship with Abdul during his first run for office—I even wrote a deep dive analysis of his state-level single payer proposal at the time.

Hell, he asked me to write a review of his national single payer guide a few years later. So, I’m impressed with his intellect & media savvy skills while being simultaneously dismayed at his decision to ride the antisemitism train via DSA & Piker into his primary victory.
