Hey #rstats :rstats: crowd! I will get to teach R to architects next semester (super excited 💗). One interesting thing is that there pretty much is a computing monoculture here. It's all Macintosh. That's a bit new to me - I've taught quite a bit of R, but it was never basically only Macs. I'm not a Mac person (I can handle Windows and work in Linux). Just statistically 😉, I expect a higher base rate of weird Mac-specific problems to pop up. Does anyone have experience with weird R-related mac problems and can give me a pointer on what to guard against?
