@passthejoe@ruby.social @pseudonym@mastodon.online And companies know this... The Walgreen's CEO admitted that this nonsense hurt their sales badly and I thought companies were going to stop. Some have. Target just seems to be especially irrational

@passthejoe@ruby.social @pseudonym@mastodon.online Which may be the point. Retail is an expense most businesses would rather not bother with these days. So much better to pay people they can abuse less visibly and with as little interaction with the customers as possible.
