@Brendanjones@fosstodon.org so there's certainly options, but some of the "exit strategies" commonly found for tech companies are probably not easily compatible with having worker ownership and control. I think that's a good thing for long term sustainability of projects, job security etc, but it's definitely a barrier to traditional VC-type investment.
