Have mixed feelings about paying to have the door switch fixed on our fancy 9 year old, built-in microwave that came with our townhouse. Economically, replacement may have been the better move. But this way I didn't have to deal with extraction, disposal, and remounting of a new one, and it's not another otherwise perfectly working device dumped in a landfill.
