I swear to god, I'm going to explode :neocat_floof_explode:
When I started working on xiaomi-pyxis ~half a year ago I ran into a stupid bug with touchscreen where it wouldn't register "TOUCH_UP" event and once touched, it would continuously send interrupts despite "IRQ_TYPE_EDGE_FALLING" (correct setting).
At some point I shelved the project because I couldn't figure it out, I would randomly receive that event but touchscreen would still keep sending interrupts.
Naturally I noticed that touchscreen was configured for 10 points (10 supported fingers) while upstream Linux driver insisted that FT5452 supported only 5. I disregarded that thinking "eh, probably not a problem" and kept digging deep in driver code looking for problems with i2c transactions etc.
Tonight I thought to myself "You know what, let's try changing that. I mean, can't hurt, right?"... that freakin' fixed it.
One-liner, touchscreen works just fine now. I feel so stupid now :meowfacepalm:
