For the record, it did not.
Trying again with easier to remove forms.
Single piece, pour it standing vertically.

This was attempt number three, not terrible. Washing the forms off after casting caused some of the edges to get shaggy, then I was too hasty getting it out of the form and cracked it by the receiver. Number four will be good.
