We had a very light #lunch after our usual #Saturday #breakfast at the local #postoffice in #Winterton-on-Sea. Spent the rest of the #morning at a #repair #café in #Stalham, the only one in #Norfolk
to appear on the https://endto10.org web site.
We took something to mend but I was mainly there to see if I had what it took to #volunteer on the #computer table. Met a great guy called Brendan. Promised next time to bring my #Chromebook as he hadn't realised you could switch them to #Linux mode.

@gregc@mastodonapp.uk Today, I was part of a #RepairCafe in #Wymondham as a trial run to see if there is any demand for one in the town. All the fixers came from the #Norwich one. I had some demonstration laptops running #Linux to introduce the idea to people. There was definitely some interest. The plan is to have some Linux repairs as part of a future cafe. I’ll have a look at adding Wymondham to the https://endof10.org/ map if that happens. #Norfolk #UK
