@mekkaokereke@hachyderm.io Also, you'd think we'd learn from abortion that "giving in, just a little" didn't even advance our goals, much less stopping any attacks or getting us recognition for being Adult enough to make concessions...they still talk about babies being killed @ birth and all kind of nonsense that never happened.

@mekkaokereke@hachyderm.io I should say that, even if these kinds of tactics elected tons of people they might not be worth the moral cost, but we do have a rare chance to do what's right AND what can work by defending people and fighting for them--that cautious crap doesn't even work, because people who want that aren't even convinced by fake versions.
