I've never had so much chaos caused by different understandings of a single word (beta) Product's definition was "basically production ready, regardless of what the developer building it said" My definition was "not ready for production, a poc to get customer feedback before we invest all the way in something" I thought loudly protesting would be enough to make that clear, but apparently that doesn't work when your words get translated to corpospeak and telephoned up multiple levels of management.
