5 days post surgery. In the days since my surgery, I've been mostly pain free -- just general discomfort and stiffness. But something changed this morning and that discomfort has shifted to pain. My guess is that whatever anti-inflammatory they applied while inside performing the operation has worn off and it's clear I have more healing to do. I think I'm just going to lay down today. In retrospect, I should have opted to buy a recliner prior to my recovery!
