Sure, but that takes money and expertise. Majority Report is a fairly small outfit in terms of staff and I think there's one guy who designs and maintains the app.
It would be good to have a centralized, open platform for independent media, but my point was that in the absence of that it's a good idea to collect some resources in anticipation of Youtube cracking down on speech. MR was more just an example.

@contrasocial@mastodon.social totally understand. but also I think the left making sustainable progress will come down to building a media infrastructure for everyone that is fully outside the influence of concentrated wealth, more than winning any election. especially when the Dems are so corrupted and the electoral structure maintains the duopoly.
