It blows me away when I meet leftist activists who refuse to stop using corporate social media. The common refrain is “its where everyone is” or “no one uses [insert any decentralized and federated service]”.
You cannot liberate yourself, or the rest of society, when you actively use the tools of your oppressors.

Leftist activists are about as phony as $3 bills. They talk a lot of shit and cannot/willnot walk the walk. Proven time and again. They hate everything they refuse to let go of.

Yes, lets just leave all plattforms where we can get a bit of public reach and remove our ability to respond to people talking about us. Online propaganda gets more necessary every day and leaving mainstream platforms just destroys any capability for it. Use smaller less controlled platforms for people already on your side but the only way to reach the average people will be on stuff like Instagram as long as it stays popular.
