@aslmx@chaos.social @Paul_Taylor@mathstodon.xyz I do have a gmail address but I only use it for sites that are part of the Gargoyle infrastructure and don't play nice with non-Gargoyle addresses such as Android Playstore, Gmail, Ewe Toob, etc, and honestly I use Fdroid before playstore if they have what I need. My android has an open bootloader and I'd love to put touch linux or something to that effect on it but given it's a Chinese unit it's not well supported.

I don't have figures in front of me, but paid for 3 years of domain and 3 years of email cloud service ... I want to say $150 a year, or so. Domain from porkbun (graf recommended) and cloud from scala ... i like to get them from separate companies.
